This plant came from a started I did in water two years ago. Now that I am misting it it is really taking off, but doesn't look quite healthy. I am considering re-potting it, taking dirt from the bottom of the plant and putting it on top to bury the exposed branches or roots, and then pruning it. Am I on the right track?

Hi Mike - IIt's important to understand that this is naturally a hanging or vining plant and resists standing upright. That is why it tends to look unruly after the stems have had a chance to grow out.

I don't think yours needs repotting and covering bare stems with more soil is risky. I suggest that you prune back a few of the longest stems to about 1-2 inches above the soil. New growth will then emerge on those stems where you make the pruning cuts. The pruned off sections can be rooted separately in damp soil or water or they can be inserted in the existing pot to fill out any bare sections.
