Texas grown Shade tolerant. It has bloomed anywhere I have planted it. One clump went to the club plant sale last summer.
2021 primary clump 7" x 33" 10 buds 2 scapes on 3 fans this year
Loves to pass on the dark color to kids from the pollen. Pollen easy, pod difficult due to the long pistil
One of the kids exceeds a meter in scape height.

It's not listed as fragrant…
The clump I have tagged as Licorice Twist is super fragrant. 37" to first branch division and upper blooms put the scapes at 43"

Slow to increase here, just 4 fans over 3 years.
