Carnival Mask is new to my garden. I received it from Stilldew in September 2017. It is growing in a container. I was worried this spring because the leaves looked thin. I thought it might not be liking the move to a hot climate. Then it put up scapes and bloomed. It is striking. I am wondering if it's foliage is just thinner like some spider daylilies I have.

I love this... its first bloom and second bloom....How do they know which way is up?

Today when it is almost 100 degrees in light shade.

This being its first year I do not think it would be fair to compare Carnival Mask to its registered stats. Also, this is a year none of my other daylilies are achieving their registered stats. Too little rain and extreme highs and lows in the temps since last fall.

Many joys are found growing around us!
One to take to heart....1 John 4 ..............................................Where there is smoke...there is fire...in most cases the smoke will kill you long before the fire consumes you. Beware of smoke screens! Freedom is not free and when those who have not paid the price or made the sacrifice...think that only they are right and entitled to speak...they bring us tryanny.
