I've grown 'Willow' for over a decade and it is one dormant that does very well in my heat and humidity. Being it was registered as dormant, I was sure I would lose it after a season or two and I pretty much wrote it off as a loss when the foliage would die to the ground. But it would reappear every year, multiplied, and seemed happy just doing its own thing. (A real anomaly for a dormant on the gulf coast.) It's a pretty, open-faced narrow bloom that's fertile both ways and will always have a spot here.

A good plant here in Kentucky too. I have had mine 7 years now, and it is a nice clump, despite being in an area that dies not get much weeding or watering during droughts.

@judydu2 @alilyfan I bought this in Januaryand am waiting for it. Excited to see good reports as this is a cultivar that I "lucked" out with as I love the name (DD#2) and the flower.

How's bud count and branching for you?
Bravery is not being unafraid. Bravery is being afraid and living life anyways.

I've never taken actual counts but I can say that bud count and branching must be more than adequate (for me) or it would have been long gone.
I know you will be pleased with this cultivar. Thumbs up
