Previously posted on this, just realized I got this plant mixed up with the one next to it. Both were new next year. I actually received 4 fans of this last spring. It bloomed quite well, height and size i expected, very pretty blooms. It came back nicely this spring and did not suffer as much from the up and down extreme temps we had this spring, unlike some of my more established plants.

I've had Gizmo for over 7 years. It was not a fast increaser. I believe for me it does get to the registered height and bloom size. I love the bi-tone and ruffles on this one. Yes, it is short and has a small bloom size but in I think most of us have "just the right spot" for this short, pretty beauty.
This picture was taken in 2010.

It is a moderate increaser for me. It is certainly a front of the border plant. It is great if you have limited space and want to have a unique looking bloom. There is a lot going on with it - bicolor, lighter ruffles, and a patterned eye.
