Well we talk about fragrance in peonies, and I couldn't find a thread about it, so I thought I would start one.
The rain has finally moved out. I went out to take some photos, and was standing in a row and could smell a definite 'rose' scent. I sniffed around and discovered that it was coming from Tom Cat! Not only is this a pretty peony with strong stems, but it has a strong rose scent

A pleasant fragrance is such a great bonus to a lovely peony! I will sniff all my peonies when they flower.

Great thread subject, LG! I will post as my blooming season progresses if I find any peony that is pleasantly scented.

LG, A very nice peony! I cannot smell it but the look is wonderful! Where did you get it? I have never seen it offered.

I'm glad you Ike it. It is a strong grower for me and tall !

Brooks offered it in 2013, I got it then. It wasn't happy in its first spot, moved it fall 2016 and it has several buds on it this spring! Mieko is right about the height, it's the tallest in that garden right now.

Romantic Lace has a Rose- like fragrance.
