I have a story to tell about this, it was given to me by a friend living in what she calls Zone Brrr. (2 Canada), and subsequent to her gift, she lost most of her iris in a very cold winter with no snow cover. Fortunately I am able to replenish one of her favorites, this is a lovely one and the first iris to be in full bloom in my garden. If this is not the right place for this photo, please do as you wish with it, admins. Thanks.

Kat,

First Welcome!

Second this is the right spot to post pictures.

If, however, you you want to "add" your photo of a certain cultivar (in this case "Baby Blessed") to the forum's Iris database, you would need to go to that cultivars "page" . On the page is a button/link that will let you add the picture.

Isn't it great when you can pay a gift back like that! I like having hard to find irises spread among friends just in case of losing one unexpectedly.

I agree

Kat ~ Welcome! to the Iris Forum!

Also, yes, it would be great to add that wonderful photo to the database. Just look up Baby Blessed in the database, and then keep going until it says to add a picture, or upload a photo.

Welcome Kat.
Winter freeze can be anywhere there is no snow cover so all is at risk in those times. Glad you could replenish.
