I have a few potted trees in my back patio. I bought them both a little over a year ago and can't recall what kind of tree either one is. I left them on the patio over winter and thought they had died. The first tree sprouted some leaves and blossoms and I was really excited, but in the past week they've shriveled up and started to slump. I tried to give it a little more water and moved it to a more shady area and haven't seen an improvement yet. Is there anything I can do to help it and is anyone able to identify what kind of tree it is? I think they're both some type of cherry blossom but I can't recall what I purchased.

This is my second tree- I can't tell if it has grown since spring but doesn't seem to be blooming- is it a goner or can I do something to revive it?

And this is my newest tree I just purchased and potted- the kwanzan cherry tree. It's blooming and beautiful, I just got excited over the blossoms and wanted to share!!

The 1st tree does look like some sort of cherry. The 2nd looks like a Box Elder (Acer negundo) though I'm not positive on that.
I would keep them watered for now but don't overwater. Feed them about half-strength fertilizer and watch them. If they keep growing cut out the dead wood if any and repot when they appear to be growing and healthy. Or you could cut them back to ground level and have all new growth. The cherry doesn't appear to be a graft.
Nice new cherry tree. If you plan to overwinter in pots again next winter you might want to give them some added protection.
