Give us a couple of months! The people in the north are just starting their bloom season and mine is not over yet. The Japanese haven't even started so I don't know yet what will end up the best of the best bloomers.

Les,

You can start with your TBs now. As other people's seasons end, they can add their observations. Besides if we start now, I can more successfully spend those last few dollars that are burning a hole in my pocket purchasing iris from iris vendors—those shameless hussies, hussars, and purveyors of temptation. Mary, true but I have most all of my TB's yet to post and a picture sells a thousand iris.... ( to paraphrase). Hee

Sherry, Beautiful photos. I'm Back did well for me, too, although I don't have the big clump you do. Maybe next year. Smiling

I'm glad to see you posting on this forum again. We've missed you!

Thank-you..
Andrea, That whole bed is three years old.. Need to divide most of it this year.

Triple Whammy was a standout.. It's very tall, and you just couldn't miss it..

Oh, 'Jealous Guy' was beautiful for me, but only one stalk.

'Broadband' was one of my best this year... I don't have a decent clump shot, so here's a cheesecake shot. It bloomed for about 3 weeks..

In the historic dept., I got 'Perfection' a couple/few years ago from one of our members.. It's been just delightful...
Thumb of 2018-05-25/Henhouse/55307d

'Oil Painting' was wonderful.. In the foreground here w/ Mango Queen, Stop the Traffic, Golden Panther & Chocolate Ecstasy.
Thumb of 2018-05-25/Henhouse/a4c707

A gold star for 'Stop the Traffic' too.. aptly named.
Thumb of 2018-05-25/Henhouse/8dc25c

In the front of that same bed is 'Love the Sun' from another member.. The darned thing was in full bloom (although on the short side) on Feb 6th, then bloomed again nicely in May.
