Tried growing this from seed, but it was the only thing from koehress that didnt germinate. Ive not lost hope though, most of the germinations were delayed anyway.

Thank you. Actually I was standing on the the only spot where I felt solid enough to not wobble and shake the camera!

All Discocactus germinate very well for me if the seed is fresh Stefan. Maybe they sent you some old seed.

Most germinate over 35%, so i cant really complain about the seller. I did buy it last novermber, and disocactus seed is rare in europe . I know they also receiver seed from growers, which might explain why. Might buy it from another seller, but it will be while before try and germinate again. Theres a lot to do at the moment anyway. Best of health to you and your plants.

I think these were from seed that I bought from a fellow enthusiast in Vista, California about thirty years ago AG. I have since produced numerous plants from the seed of these plants.

Well you've done a most excellent job and have some lovely to plants to show for both your work and patience! I tip my hat to you.

I don't mind waiting a bit for a cactus to grow, but I'm afraid 30 years more than exceeds my limits of both time and patience! Rolling my eyes. Hilarious!

I agree I had some long ago, and they didn't last long. Haven't tried them recently.
