On our way home now, will post pics as soon as I can! Will say the first tour day was better to me than the 2nd, we visited Adelmans and Oregon Perennial (think that the name, will confirm before sharing pics!). Unfortunately the seedling beds that we were so interested in were already bloomed out, just some forming seed pods left, so no sneak peeks. Was also disappointed to not find a single new Itoh; none of the new ones from Swensons or anything, nor a Heather or Kayleigh Ann. The seedling table at the competition was maybe 1/5th the size of that we drooled over in WI in 2016.
The convention next year will be about 2 weeks earlier, something like May 16-19th in Aimes Iowa. No big growers there but sounds like there will be lots of member garden tours, one that Nate says has Saunders and other old peonies he didn't t know existed! Not sure if i can make it yet but am interested!

Bob Johnson had 2 buckets of enormous flowers from his seedlings on the show day, the colors were gorgeous and the structure of the petals were thick like paper. My photos are not even close to the reality. Sad

Also want to add that you ladies look wonderful! If you haven't disclosed your age, Mary, I think you are still in your fifties.

Wow, those peonies look huge, Anya! THat pink one has such a lovely full form and color.

Karen, you just made my day. Rolling on the floor laughing Surely you jest. Although a little rinse in color does help. I turn 72 in October. And lately feel every year.

Thanks for the kind thought. *Blush*
