Anyone have any idea on this. I love the leaf structure and don't mind letting it stay. I have been looking everywhere and can't figure out what it is. I really appreciate any help. :)

It's only a foe if you don't want it there. If you like it then it's a friend unless it turns out to be a thug. I don't know what it is. Maybe someone will recognize it but if not now, post a picture when and if it flowers.

I have to say I REALLY love what you offered here. "It's only a foe if you don't want it there." I don't consider many plants to be foes and I am often ridiculed for the things I grow in my garden. I LOVE dandelions in my lawn because when nothing else is blooming in the spring, the bees can enjoy them. Further, because they are in my garden, enjoying life, I can eat them straight from the lawn because I don't spray anything anywhere.

I have a dedicated area for thistles because the butterflies love them (I am sure to deadhead them before their cottony fluff takes off and infiltrates someone else's garden because I know most hate thistle). I am obsessed with creating a naturalized patch of Bellis Perennis. And the list goes on. Many consider these treasures of mine extreme foes that must be eradicated and shake their head in dismay when I profess my love for these 'weeds'.

As it turns out, this particular plant is the common Prostrate Vervain. -- Prostrate Vervain (Verbena bracteata)

I am going to keep it and let the tomatoes grow with them. Or, I may gently uproot some of them and see if they will survive in some empty pots. I have been struggling with what to plant inside them so these might do nicely.

This plant is extremely drought resistant which to me is its strongest attribute. I don't like to provide much supplemental irrigation to my garden due to how little water there is here and well, this plant doesn't need any extra water. When I started tilling this bed yesterday, it was bone dry.
