Thread OP
Half Moon Bay CA
Hi, living in a Half Moon Bay CA and bought an Osborne Fig plant last year. We got 3-4 figs from it and I placed it in the garage this winter. As temps became warmer, I place it on the deck where I can water and let it get about 3-4 hours of sun. When it's windy, I put it back indoors. But now it seems the leaves are browning at the ends, slow leaf growth and some new leaves brown and fall off too. No fruit this year so far...what do I do? Thanks...

In your climate it can stay outside year round.
As much sun as possible.
There subtropical, which means there roots are active year round, so they need water year round.
Anything i say, could be misrepresented, or wrong.

Are you not able to plant outside?

It may be lobbying for a larger pot? The perspective of the photo is a little tricky, but are there roots coming out of the pot's drainage holes?

I agree that it will be happiest outside if you have a safe sunny spot to put it.

Good luck,
Virginia
