I live on Bainbridge Island in Washington State. I bought a house & I dug up an old fiberglass row boat. I have been trying to figure out it it would be a safe planter for vegetables or if I should just use it for ornamental plants. I know it will need drainage holes either way.
Thanks!

Junk it! Why risk any contamination from an old Fiberglas boat?

I don't know if fiberglass is okay or not for edibles, but colorful flowers/ornamentals woud look lovely in the boat @CleverKat. Welcome to NGA! Smiling

I'd love to see it full of flowers! I don't know if fiberglass is toxic or not for veggies.

That sounds great! Just make sure it drains well or your flowers won't be happy. Please do post some photos when it's filled and blooming.

You can buy fiberglass pots at Lowes and Home Depot - there are no warning labels about vegetables in them. I don't think fiberglass is a problem.
