I usually keep the tags that come with the plants, but somehow misplaced this one. I only remember that it said you could make tea from the leaves, and when you rub the leaves it has a minty smell. My wife said she doesn't think it smells like mint, but something else, can't remember what.

So what is this? It really took off this year, it wasn't that high last year. The other leaves in the barrel planter are crocus.

It does look like Mentha to me. There are many other "flavors" of mint than the traditional mint. Check out the link

Here is a better picture I took just this morning that shows it with buds. I don't recall that it has produced buds, maybe it takes a year or so? That's about how long I've had it.

Found it! Anise Hyssop. Wife kept saying she thought it smelled like Ana's tea (that's what I heard). She spelled it out for me and I googled it.
