I was given this plant about a year ago, I believe it's some sort of ficus, but I can't figure out what exactly. It has grown to be three times as large as it was 10 months ago and I really like it, so want to read more about it.

There are named variegated cultivars. Is 'Variegata' a real cultivar, or just used in its' generic sense to indicate variegation? If the latter, I wish it was not being punctuated as a cultivar in the database here, with apostrophes and capitalization.
