Can you tell if these are Martagons or Turk's caps - I used to know the difference. Thanks! Whatever they are, I love them! Anyone want some nodules or whatever they're called by mail when they're ripe?

They appear to be Lilium lancifolium, aka Tiger Lilies. I guess some folks call them Turk's caps but that is a common name which I believe is also applied to some other lilies that recurve back like that.

Martagons differ in that the leaves grow in whorls around the stem with empty space between each whorl. Tiger lilies grow the leaves alternately up the length of the stem as shown in your photo.
