Following in the footsteps of the great and wonderful of this community (@kniphofia, @BigBill, @ViolaAnn and all you wonderful others!), it is my turn to be able to toss acorns to the wind and let them land in your happy little stashes. Five will go to each of the first 20 folks who are in need. I do love the no begging rule. Also, please let those who have neither been gifted through acorn give-aways nor won a NARR in 2018 request them (gently!)

I really did not intend to make my no begging request a rule however it seems to have gone that way. I just have seen a few people get a little too wordy in their requests for acorns. A simple request would suffice for me.
I was so fortunate to have won 250 acorns I figure and why not share some. I have had my fun and it was time to spread them around a little. If I never win again I will still feel great! I will feel twice as good if somebody wins with "gifted" acorns since I think that that is the main purpose here. Share gardening information but to form friendships, get advice and have a little FUN. What could possibly be any better then that??

And I still have acorns left for 3 more people, but since others are stepping up to the plate, maybe I'll hold on to them until August. As I said, I wasn't going to check up on people who requested acorns. Seems like it's best to trust that they won't double dip - or at least not intentionally.

Sorry if I came off a little rude. I should think before I write. Well, I do think but only to myself so that's not too helpful.

I'm sure as the the time gets closer to the actual drawing a lot more people will be looking for acorns. There's definitely some great prizes. We're all so lucky that Dave and gang put together the NARRs for us. The videos are pretty special as well.
