Not sure if this is the right forum, but I can't seem to post a question to the plant ID forum - maybe a moderator could transfer this question?

I have a succulent I can't identify. If anyone knows what it is, I'd love to hear it. Also, does it look healthy? Once I know what it is, I can look up care instructions.

Thanks
Melissa

It may be this one: Crassula capitella 'Campfire'

Tiffany,

It could be, but after looking at more images of it on a Google search, I'm not so sure. There is no red on it at all. I've included 3 close-up pictures that might make the plant clearer. Or maybe there's no red because it's not in the right lighting conditions. MYbe it needs afternoon shade.

I could be wrong, it could be the plain non-cultivar species, the colors may need cold weather to form, or it may need more light to develop the colors.

This person has observed color changes on their plant: http://thegardenpages.com/succ...

After checking that link, I'm sure it's a Crassula capitella. Why it hasn't turned red is something to do with the lighting, I'm sure. It's growing like a weed - I'll have to transplant it soon. Smiling
Thank You!

Happy to suggest. Looks like it's about to bloom too. ;)
