Hi All -

I am new to this forum ... but have been reading the posts under "adenium" for some time

My oldest adenium is over 16 years old - and the youngest are about 5 years old ....for a total of around 60 plants

pictures to come

Glad to be here among other adenium growers

Welcome! @deepsouth! This forum has been a bit slow recently but I'd love to see it active again. I have one adenium that is 18 years old and then about 6 young seedlings just starting to begin blooming.

I learned about them when we lived in the Marshall Islands, midway between Hawaii and the Philippines. It was perfect for growing all tropicals. Now that I'm stateside again, I'm stuck on growing tropicals of all types.

Thanx for the Reply

You and I have a few things in common ... New Mexico, the Pacific, Arizona & adeniums

Don't know why or how, but I gravitated to adeniums ....the root structures of adenium remind me of well tended, ancient bonsai ....and the flowers remind a little of Azalea or Rhododendron ...a common fixture in the south

Locally ....anyone that sees them are impressed ....

Also have a Dioscorea mexicana (Mexican yam) .... its rapid growth, continues to surprise me -
