I have not know the name of this plant until today when I came across it here. For years I have always called her my "PREHISTORIC PLANT" due to her looks. Whilst I have noted the actual name I think I will continue calling it my prehistoric plant as even my grand kids now know it as that. Mine has never flowered although I do recall my parents one did bloom when they were still around, white I think it was I am going to try the various tips and , well, lets see...
I am looking for various Disocactus Ackermannii in different colours. Anyone know where I can acquire? I have the deep red and snow white but now see yellows, mauve, pinks...all manner of beautiful colours. Any help would be appreciated. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa.
