...make blue hair! Can't make a darn blue daylily, but hair we can get....

So, after dead-heading goopy flowers and noticing how well stained my hands got, I had to try it on my hair... Why? Cuz every now and then, the inner weird has to come out, and ask "what would happen if...?"



Works best on hair that has been highlighted, but it will soak into non-lightened hair (DD#5 tried it on hers). It's much more subtle.

We're thinking about trying to dye a t-shirt with them next...

Question--will the "blue" come out of the hair when washed or is this permanent?

Avedon, it does fade after washing. I keep redoing it before it washes out completely, so I don't know how long it takes to go from blue to normal.

No not yet! Been working on the shade bed lately. And mowed for four hours and week whacked everything I could reach...

Great use for daylilies! I wonder if it would cover my gray hair.
