I have grown this plant for quite a few years now, in our garden in Menton, France. The soil is really sandy but Bas Relief has soldiered on bravely, providing blooms every year, although not doing so very generously. I really like the extreme texture to the blooms and the rich colouring. I have never seen it rebloom. Perhaps I need to apply fertiliser more often?

I got this plant back on March 8th 2018, it has never really been a strong plant here. It has had slow increase every year, and is still a very small clump. I bought it because it is a sculpted relief form. I am finding that often sculpted relief daylilies are not the strongest, or most prolific or fasting multiplying plants. It has a low bud count, a low branch count and a short bloom period for me.
Edited to add a couple of photos:
These are just two examples of the sculpted relief blooms produced by 'Bas Relief'.They illustrate why it is often so hard to identify a plant just by the blooms alone. The second photo shows a lighter colored midrib that I don't recall seeing on many of the blooms. To me the second bloom also appears much more yellow in color also. Both are off the same plant in different years.
