I have a huge apology to make to several of you. The canna lily "seeds" I harvested at the dentist's office weren't actually seeds. They were some kind of hairy covering that was brown and easily removed from the outside of what I now know are the seed pods. Please look on my list and let me know if there is something you'd like me to sub for the cannas or if you're interested in daylily seeds I can send some of those. I need to mail these tomorrow to get them to Val on time so please let me know ASAP.
Val, I had an MRI this week and the spinal stenosis in my neck has worsened. I'll see the neurosurgeon next and see what he recommends. My GP just had surgery for the same thing and they put a plate on her spine and screwed it to the vertebrae around the problem area. I have been going to her to years and really trust her judgement so if I need surgery will probably go the same way.
The pain is much less today. Resting seems to help a lot in keeping it down. I didn't do anything yesterday but sit in the recliner and watch old westerns. Gotta love Festus! I was bored stiff by afternoon but it really helped.
