Interesting tree growing behind my son's school in Arizona. I like its form. Any idea what it is?

For an accurate answer it would really be most helpful to see a clear close up of the leaflets.
Can you find any flowers or seed pods on it?

Unfortunately, it is behind a fence and I can't get close to it to examine it.

I've narrowed it down to a Japanese Yew.

Hmm!
Impossible to tell from your image.
In my experience people are very happy if you ask them.
Just knock the door and ask...."please may I just take a pic of your beautiful tree."

If you really want to know what it is go round to the back of it and take a close up of the leaflets!

I identified it...It is a Silver Wattle Acacia. Nice tree, actually a shrub.

Last time you id it as .....Japanese Yew......now Silver wattle.
Maybe it is .......maybe it is something different!
Guess we will never know.

Actually Acacia dealbata may start looking shrubby but it is a tree and can grow large.

I used a telephoto lens and took a close up shot and loaded into a plant identification software program. It identified it as a Silver Wattle, aka Mimosa Acacia. I will know for sure when it blooms the little yellow balls. Cheers!

Acacia dealbata has bi-pinnately compound leaves as in this picture, I don't think the ID plant has that?

Now I'm stumped...Could be Acacia angustissima? No thorns on this tree...so that eliminates quite a few Acacias, including my favorite the Sweet Acacia.

I'll send my pictures to an arborist. Thanks everyone for your input.
