Saw this in a planter displayed at NorthPark Center in Dallas. I have absolutely no idea what it is but it looked really cool. Not sure if it's alive but I know it's not artificial.

Wish the planters had descriptive signs of some sort. The artwork does. Of course the artwork is more permanent.
