I love this daylily. I have had it now for a couple of years and love love the simple-ness of the flowers. The soft ruffles gives it a neat edging.

So far it has performed as registered, although for zone 5B in CT, I don't consider 2nd week of July as Late. So I would say that it is more of a mid to late mid.

I bought this Daylily back in 2012 when Seawright was closing to be in my late cultivar bed. It turned out to be a mid/late season plant here in Boston. Beginning July 12 and blooming until August 5, this sturdy oldie is continuously flowering. Very beautiful, in a classic way, it is a good foil for other flowers because of its simplicity. Always neat, never a bad hair day, it even stands up pretty well to pounding rain, which we had a lot of this summer. It has increased well over the years.

I bought this one in 2020 because I loved the pictures. It never did well, though, and I finally dug it up and potted it to try to nurse it along.

It hasn't returned this spring (2022). It's February, so it's possible it just hasn't shown itself yet, but I'm afraid it's gone. I don't recommend this one for growers in the Deep South.

Edit: the plant did show up finally, so judgment is reserved. Will post more later after I see how it does.

Later: Country Fair Winds never bloomed for me, so I sent it in a plant trade with a forum member up north.

2022, bloomed from July 15- August 1st, a few days less in both directions than last year. I'm blaming the drought. Still, very floriferous, multiple blooms on most days for weeks. It's such a pretty multicolored flower, it reminds me of Little Rainbow, with melon and orchid and cream blended nicely.

2023 update…the majority of this was moved to the new Egg Bed in front of the house, howler a few fans have remained behind in its old location, so I now have this in two different spots.

Blooming from July 12-27th, this plant did not miss a beat after being transplanted.
