Thanks for starting Part 2, Ursula!
The Bollea coelestis is so beautiful! Love the lip. Looking forward to the news on the scent. Great flowers on that Oerstedella and I now can recognize the epiweb. (I'll have to take a pic of my new rambling Maxillaria green sp. on the epiweb). Sc. Crystal Smith is lovely as always and the shape of the Dendrobium woodsii flowers is cool!
The 'Poem' is charming! Nice plant!
Have to take a closer look at the Mormolyca ringens, looks neat.
How do you deal with the glue on your L. anceps? The buds opened without trouble?
Funny you should ask. There was a bud clump that never grew bigger in the sheath. I sprayed it and lightly wiped off the sticky stuff every day. Finally I decided to peel off the sheath and power spray all the glue off. At first the buds were surprised to be free and in the sun. Then in a few days they started growing again. It was a breeze for them to open then. I do something like that with the Coelogyne lawrenceana. It's not as gluey but I remove the sheaths when they turn brown or they will "strangle" the buds. They are like an onion with many layers to the sheath.
Ursula, that 'Rheagan' picture is so pretty, all sparkly like a ballerina!
Here's one of mine today, it was wonderful having some sun after all
the gloomy days we've had this winter.
