I purchased this daylily this spring and wasn't expecting it to bloom. I was happy to see scapes and bloom on it this year. The scapes were short, no taller than 10" and the bloom size was respectable for a first year plant. Bud count was around 6 per scape. I did set two pods, one on each scape and I used HS pollen. I know I've collected one xHawaiian Swirls pod so far, but I can't recall how many more might be out there.

The colors are happy, tropical and each bloom opened nicely.

Had this daylily in my garden for maybe four years, it just did not do well here and was removed from the garden.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
