Has anyone who uses Mancozeb had all the new daylily leaves become yellow or whitish instead of green, as seen in this photo? If so did the plants recover?

Never heard of this until now Admmad. Interesting to hear what anyone has to say.

Do you use Mancozeb?

I've used Mancozeb with Zinc as my contact fungicide for several years. I've never had it harm or cause discoloration to any daylily parts. It does need agitation to keep the solids in suspension, so I have to keep shaking my 2-gallon sprayer as I go along.

I assume that would mean that if the sprayer is not agitated the plants that were sprayed when the sprayer was near empty would receive a much higher dose than recommended? Or does the sprayer clog and stop spraying effectively? Or both?

I have used immunox, it never seemed to do much good. Also, I did not like it because it left a slight white film on the foliage.
The foliage itself never seemed to have been bothered by it.

The following was just released by Pest Control Canada, Government Agency, June 2018 and is a re-evaluation of Mancozeb:

"An evaluation of available scientific information found that foliar application of mancozeb to potatoes meets current standards for the protection of human health and the environment when used according to the conditions of registration which include required amendments to label directions...... All other uses of mancozeb are being cancelled due to unacceptable risks to human health and will be removed from the labels."
My personal note: This is a very harmful, read toxic fungicide! Even in using Mancozeb on potato plants, in our Canadian Province of PEI, Prince Edward Island, (large potato grower) every year over the past five years, there are (HUGE) fish kills because of the runoff into their rivers and streams! Every Year! When some fungicide runoff causes thousands of fish to float to the surface, belly up, that is a bad chemical! There are several, very safe fungicides available. California has Mancozeb listed as a Carcinogenic, with other very critical health warnings and issues as well. Without getting political, in the US now, your EPA has been stripped of almost all regulatory authority. Scary.

I use Mancozeb on my daylilies and tall bearded irises with no problems. It's the only thing that controls root rot in the irises here.

I don't know the answers to your questions. I do know it has never clogged my sprayer, and mine is just a small, hand-held 2-gallon tank. I don't know which of the solids may be inert (if any) or which may be active. All I can say is that in my garden, Mancozeb has not harmed my daylilies whether spraying from a full tank or near empty. I spray just after the dew has evaporated and before the sun gets brutal, or on cloudy days.
