Is anyone growing grapes? I'm going to be planting 3 plants in the coming week or so and the more I read about growing them the more complicated it seems! Just wondering how other people grow them and if they're happy with the results...

I've tried growing grapes in the past and it was always a disaster. I wanted to try again this year, and found a video that really helped explain what to do. It was pretty easy and now I have 3 vines nicely planted and they're looking good so far. http://groworganic.com/organic...

Thanks for that link, Fran -- I think I need all the help I can get with this project, but have decided to jump in and give it a try! I've been researching a bit and have come to the conclusion that it probably isn't as complicated as it first appears, but you DO need to follow certain principles and prune pretty diligently, etc. Meanwhile, I've put my plants in the garden temporarily so I can get their permanent spot prepared better; the hardest thing to come by looks to be the patience to wait for 3 years or so for the first harvest, but I'm hoping it will be worth the wait!
