The other post is getting kinda long, so I'm starting a new one. When I get new pictures, I will add them along as the season progresses.

I have asked my friend Ann to add to my post also.

Dot

Bart Roberts is SOOO pretty today, (thanks Ann)

Picotee Prism fully open, (I posted a picture yesterday partially open). Another thank you to Ann for showing me her gorgeous pictures of it last year. I had to have it.

Dragonfly Dawn on rebloom

Red Cloud Mesa, I know it is kinda plain, but it sets pods well, and it will be covered with Can't Touch This pollen.

Just Fabulous looks kinda gaudy and it is but, it is MUCH prettier than this picture.

Just Fabulous in 2010, the camera co-operated a little more on this picture. It is the hardest flower to take a picture of ever. The background is a neon orange.

I went to AHS to look up Picotee Prism the last time you posted one. Your pictures are so much more beautiful than theirs. It's just awesome!!! It's on top now tied up with Can't Touch This.

All very nice, Dot. What is the bloom size of best edge?
You have so many gorgeous blossoms in April no less.

Have scapes here, but with the weather, now cool, have
no idea when blooms will show.

Shirlee,

Best Edge measures 5", I forgot to put pollen on it lol.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I will continue to post pictures on this thread now as they bloom. It is still early here. But I do now have scapes coming up everywhere.

I finally sprayed for thrips a couple of days ago, too late for some blooms, but hopefully they will be better now. Best Edge was showing a lot of thrip damage today as was Cutting Loose.

Mona, Maybe Ann will post one of her pictures of Picotee Prism she took last year. I have her pictures saved on my computer but she should post them, if she ever gets done in her garden.

Appreciate that, Dot. Many thanks. Trying to determine
when to spray for thrips here. I see tiny buds forming in
some of the scapes.

Gorgeous blooms. It is so nice to see beautiful blooms on here every day. I finally got one from Can't Touch This, but it didn't open as well as I would have liked, but we have had cold weather here. I know it will get better. After all, it has only been in the ground a short while. I planted tender annuals last Friday and noticed today that they have frost damage, but not killed.

Bart Roberts is such a beautiful daylily - just wish it increased faster. Dragonfly Dawn still looks great on rebloom. It has been so very consistent with every bloom. I clicked on your photo of Best Edge and it is a knockout!

Mona,

Picotee Prism is listed on the auction from seller NDL, that is Nicole Harry DeVito. She sent me the largest fans ever this spring on my introductions, Can't Touch This and 2 others which haven't bloomed yet. But they were the biggest fans I got this spring and all are doing marvelous and growing like gangbusters. Her Smooth Talker should bloom for me tomorrow. If it is a good flower I will post a picture. But I would highly recommend buying from her. Picotee Prism does seem to make smaller fans though. Of course this is the first season in my garden for it.

Ann please post the picture of Picotee Prism with 2 open flowers. It is awesome.

ROFL, she is busy, I will post it she doesn't care. She only has an acre to take care of.

Mona,

Now you see why I had to have Picotee Prism after seeing Ann's picture.

This morning was just awesome. I woke up late and rushed outside to see Smooth Talker on it's FFO. With camera in hand I started taking pictures from every angle. It didn't look just like Nicole's picture, but then I really didn't think it would anyway, no dayliliy can be that blue. When I got inside to download the pictures, I could kinda see why hers looked like it did. Some angles the camera caught the color as it really was and some pictures washed out the soft peach background. So I have edited the color to look as much like it did to my eyes as possible. Still can't see the soft peach color very well.

We had a hot day yesterday and the night was just perfect, mid 60's. This mornings flowers were just awesome.

Sugar Glider was my first to bloom for the last 3 years. This year it is having a lot of trouble recovering from being divided last fall. I'm sure she'll settle down next year. I've used her pollen alot last year. I have alot of seedlings growing with it as daddy. I mentioned this earlier in the year, all the seeds with Sugar Glider as a parent germinated first or very soon after being planted. I found it strange that they germinated so quick. All of them. I hope she's a good parent in the looks department too!
