Hello Jan-
Your 'Creamsicle (temp name)' is nice! Also Aloha Spirit & Royal Sterling are outstanding. It's cold, wet and rainy here today. Perfect for looking at pictures. . You said, "Hope to see more of the members' "greatest hits" or just photos you like." Here are some of mine from 2018; just some I like. Hope they will help brighten up the place a bit. I took it as an invite. Smiling

Beauties! You have such an inviting garden, Leon!
You'll notice that there's a tag for a cross made using Creamsicle (temp name)
as the pod parent.Something broke it before it could make a pod! So I brought it inside. Glad you like it.

I think I may have to have Black Comedy, Leon!

Leon ~ You have such a beautiful garden. It shows that you put a lot of work into it, and that you have rain! You might have to be inside today, but at least your irises and other plants are watered...and that beautiful lawn!

I guess my first favorite iris from 2018 is Thornbird.

I received it as a clump and it was vigorous from start to finish.

The second one is Elegance in Blue

It isn't quite at the clumping stage yet, but it was tall and a strong bloomer.

The third outstanding bloomer was Chasing Rainbows

I am hoping it will grow to the size of Richard's clump here.
(I could NOT set a pod on it, however!)
Edited to say that these were all first year bloomers in my garden.

I haven't even finished posting all of my images from 2018 so it is to early for me to select any greatest hits, but I'm enjoying the posted pics. Aloha Spirit, Black Comedy, Code of Honor and Chasing Rainbows are particular appealing to me. Lovey dubby

Water Waltz (Johnson 2014) was a very pleasant surprise this year. I planted it in 2015, got no bloom in 2016 or 2017, but this year, wow! It put on a beautiful show. By its third year, it had increased to eight fans and each put up a stalk. This is a big iris. The stems were about 1/2 inch thick and the rhizomes are only slightly smaller than my fist. Its color would rival Absolute Treasure. I would call it my favorite blue except that it was so slow to bloom. WW got an Honorable Mention this year, rather late in its career.

Another iris with a checkered blooming career but that was absolutely stunning this spring was Wicked Good. I got a very small rhizome of WG in 2016. It didn't bloom in spring 2017 (no surprise) but then it bloomed in February 2018.

Then it bloomed again in May!

The falls of WG are almost black. It is really is quite beautiful.

Gee, golly, and gumdrops. All of these irises are fantastic! Particularly Wicked Good, Thornbird and Dalmatica (I may have Dalmatica, but I'm not sure).

Good luck with your seedling 'Creamsicle,' Jan. I hope it does well for you as it is really pretty.

I love your gardens, Leon. That's something I'd aspire to have my gardens look like. Fabulous! Drooling

All of my pictures (a lot of which y'all have seen) are noids since I am so new. I've taken on 27 new varieties in just the span of about five weeks - there's a lot of hopefulness towards 2019's bloom season! May that mark the year I have more than four varieties blooming at once.

Andrea - Is Wicked Good a rebloomer? (I suppose that is a dumb question since a February bloom). That is absolutely gorgeous and I will have one at some point!! Sticking tongue out
TB 'Starting Fresh' blooming for me in May of 2022. It bloomed for a week and a half with nine buds.

It is so hard for me to choose a favorite. I will narrow it down by choosing from new ones to my garden.

This is SDB Antsy. I loved the colors and pattern on this one.

SDB Helmsman. A Marky Smith iris that is just colored with lines.

Then there is this little seedling/noid
