I know it's still a little ways out, but with fall arriving, seeds ripening on the plants, and visions of what to plant for next year...

Sooo good to hear from you and see you back. Sorry I'm so slow to answer. We are still collecting seed here. So I'm still doing last minute fall stuff and getting bulbs in the ground. It's been raining all weekend so it will be around wednesday before I can finish planting them. I'm so excited. The start of swapping it fast approaching. I hope everyone has a good time this year. Looking forward to seeing everyone else as well.

Just finished packing up the seeds. Have lots of different varieties of toamtoes. Looking forward to this swap.

I'm in the other two but I've never done a lightning round so I want to do this one too. Still collecting, hopefully I'll have enough to participate in all 3.

How does this work exactly? I have lots of tomatoes, some flowers and other veggies to send in is it a round robin type trade? Am I supposed to list exactly what I have before sending?

With these swaps, you list what you have to trade. This swap is a one night only so everything goes in one night. List what you are willing to trade and the night the swap starts we all bid on things that we want. You are able to click on the offerings of others and place a star on the items you want. The next day, you should be sorting and bagging up seeds for individuals and getting them ready to be sent to me. Since this is the holidays, if everyone sends in a timely manner, you'll have your seeds back to you before Christmas rush. Oh and once the swap is over you will be able to print a list of who you need to pack seeds for. Dave made us a really neat little program here for these. :)

Just got Karen's email. The week of Thanksgiving was crazy for me. I hadn't realized how soon it was! Hopefully I'll get a chance to add a bit more to the swap this weekend but don't count on it. I spent a lot of time the last two weeks traveling and I have a lot of chores to catch up on before next week. I can't believe it's almost December!

I am laughing at myself as I list things for the swap at how many packs of seeds seem to be sneaking back into my keeper pile. When I look up the info and pics for them I remember why I wanted to try them in the first place.

That is so funny, Lalambchop, I was just saying that my list of things to grow is growing instead of my seed stash shrinking!
