Approximately 6 years ago I was given this palm tree as a rescue. It did well with me for all these years, however in the past month it literally just "drooped" (as you can see from the picture). It doesn't appear to be dying (i.e. leaves falling off). Is there any reason(s) for this? What can I do to make it stand up tall again?

Do you know what kind of palm it is? The photo is too dark to really see clearly but the drooping leaves may be due to lack of sufficient light or a soil/water issue.

Is it possible to get a brighter photo of the entire plant and also a photo of the pot, showing the soil?
~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt!

It looks like it may be a Yucca elephantipes, but I agree it is hard to the from this photo.

Also, please provide details as to its location relative to the nearest window and your watering routine.
