Planted these seeds I got from a seed swap last fall. They were marked Spanish brooms. I planted them 8 or 9 mos ago. It took over 3 mos for them to come up. They are about 5 mos old. Can anyone tell me if they are Spanish brooms?.

Doesn't Spanish Broom have 3-part compound leaves? Am I thinking of a different plant with the same common name?

There are 2 plants in the pot but both look the same kind, at least to me. Both took over 3 months to sprout and have both grown at about the same rate. I just know they were marked as Spanish brooms. I have looked for seedlings of spanish broom but have been successful in finding any. Maybe someone else will spot this post and have an idea. Sighing! Thank You!
