Added DF to my garden last spring and it has just limped along in its first year giving me just a couple of blooms. The blooms are lovely so I am hoping it does better in its second year.
A large, very striking bloom. Fairly young plant, but blooms so far have all opened well. Would be nice if it were a few inches taller, but regardless, seems like an exceptional cultivar. Very slow to multiply. Later Note: modest bud count and a considerable percentage with splotchiness.

I introduced Soli deo Gloria to my Prayer Garden this spring and it had quickly become my favorite daylily. Karol Emmerich's hybrids are always sturdy and great plants in my garden. It even rebloomed late in the season for the first year
