Hello!
There has been no listing so far for a January Swap. I know that Val may not be up to doing one in January but she is planning on a feb swap. If there is enough interest, I will do one in January for everyone. Please let me know in the comments if you are interested.

Since we have three so close together do you think there will be enough different seeds to do another?

When I list seeds, I obviously list some of the same ones, but I also offer different ones in each swap.

I'd say it's a good think you're retiring Diana or you'd never get that all done. It sounds like Jan. will be a fun month for you. Congrats. on your retirement. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Lambchop,
When we know we have multiple swaps, we make sure there is different along with old or past seed offerings. Before any of the swaps started, I divided my seeds from this year, traded seeds that need new homes, and past swap offerings. I actually divided into 4 swaps just in case an extra swap popped up. If it doesn't happen, what is left all goes into vials Feb swap. This way, I have variety offered. Smiling

I divided mine too on things where I could and then went through and got all the seeds from 2014-16 so they could be used before they got too old. I'm learning.

I'd prefer a Feb swap myself. By then my other trades and purchases will have arrived and I'll know what I have extras of. But I know lot of people start getting busy with seed planting then so I may be the minority.

I'll be planting away in January, myself. I love January and it's really fast approaching. I don't even have the gardens planned for next year. I'm hoping to get that done sometime this week. Wait, next week. It's thanksgiving on thursday! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I know I'm late chiming in, but I'd be up for another swap if you decide to host one.

The February swap is for FLOWER SEEDS ONLY. It's listed to start on the 15th of Feb.

I would be interested in an ALL TYPES OF SEEDS swap in the latter part of January. That would give time to sort out seeds from the last two swaps and to receive seeds that I'm getting ready to order.

Hi y'all. I think everyone's seeds should be in by Jan. I'm thinking the 10th or the 17th for another lightning. That gives time for these seeds to be returned for Vals swap in Feb.

Karen,
Do you anticipate your Jan swap to be mainly edibles or a mixture?

I'm going to have to pass on that one. With the three we're doing right in a row I need a little time to recover. Thumbs up I hate to miss one of yours but I'm about swapped out right now.

Could I suggest a late spring swap? An "I've planted all my seeds and these are the extras" kind of thing? Would give some people time to still plant some of them for the current season.

Generally spring is a really busy time for alot of people, getting things planted, weeding, mulching and all that goes withit. I tried an August one for that reason and we had a small group and fun swap,. I have no problem with a smaller swap, but right now im not going to be able to commit past my Feb swap due to other spring and summer commitments this yr Maybe someone else if there is enuf interest.

The January swap has been posted. Anyone reading may go join now. I hope to see you all there and understand that some cannot. In that case, I'll be looking forward to seeing everyone again next season!

I joined, but I'll have to wait until my other swaps arrive to see what I have. Otherwise I'm afraid all I'll have is extras from the last 3 swaps.
