Anybody have one? What is the best one to get? What are the ones NOT to get??? Looking for something that I can bake the 8x4 foil pans of bread, mostly. I saw that Wolf Sub-Zero has one but I cannot afford to spend that kind of money.

Air frues are different. I bogut a Breville tabletop convection oven. Works great. Has an air fry function that works so good that I tookmthe air fryer back home when we went back for Christmas. Did not need it clogging up space here in the RV.

Anna helped me make a choice for a table top convection ... not outta the box. Will wait until we get to the RV..the RV oven waaaaaaay too small and not dependable ..or maybe I just dont want to take the time to deal with it.

Rosie, I have found that the RV ocen is really pretty good....IF you check temp with an oven thermometer, use good quality aluminum pans, and the most important, put a tile in it just on top of the metal
piece that is over the burner. That made the biggest difference in even heat distribution. For breads, I ALWAYS check internal temp with a digital thermometer.

Having said all that, the RV oven does make nice loaves of bread using the 8x4 inch foil pans.

The Breville bakes different.....I have still not found the optimum rack placement. The breads and rolls brown too early, so I have to lay a piece of foil over the top. I check that oven's temp with a thermometer too.

I know, this was probably way too much information for the "normal" person and their application. Whistling

Edited to add: the Breville does a really good job on cookies. It takes twice as long to bake cookies in the RV oven. 8 to 10 minutes in the Breville vs. close to 20 in the RV. This is for chocolate, chip or oatmeal cookies.

You told me about the tile and i have them ready to go
You told me about the thermometer...but i forgot ..will get
I will use it but my experience baking a potato was awful.
I have a microwave CONVECTION oven in the RV. I am sure it works ok but it is very small. I wanted something bigger than meatloaf for two room ..I also like to slow roast on low temps and this will do that withiut shutting down.

I bought this sugar that cost a damn fortune... it is supposed to impart a brown sugar caramel flavor .. recommended by a low carb dietician...so basically it is a natural fruit sweetener.. with a brown sugar slant. I plan on using that oven for gluten free ginger snaps for my brother.. and a few other gluten free goodies, not much of a dessert maker other than pound cake. Just got a recipe for a blueberry lemon pound.

Oh........hmmmmmm........I don't know if you need a tile for a tabletop comvection oven.......it is recommended for the small gas oven in the RV. Ghastly heat distribution in there and even more ghastly hot spots without it. Hilarious!

Sorry, I thought from your comment that you only had the microwave/convection oven.
