Below is a picture of one of my mom's (what we believe is an aloe). I love this plant. Can anyone tell me what type of aloe this may be?

I don't think that's any kind of nobilis. Try looking at the aloes which were recently moved into the genus Aloiampelos, a group of creeping/climbing/sprawling plants. The most common member of this group in cultivation is A. ciliaris.
