I dont remember the name . But,they are pretty and are the first to bloom in my garden

Dunno for sure, but these were both potted plants that were either left in the pot for a couple of years (cranberry), or were in bad shape when I bought them (yellow). I think they are pretty tough.

Beautiful, all of them. Mine are weeks away from blooming.

You can pot them whenever you need to ~ try to keep the soil around the roots intact and they ought to be fine.

So nice to view beautiful blooms already. I'm pretty far off, though working my tail off weeding. Is that chore ever over?? Thank you for sharing your pretties.

Graffiti popped-even though i didnt order a bulb this year Sign out this weekend on the main road 'potted lilies'

Lollipop and Tiger Play started blooming yesterday; 4 different Pixies (started first, 5-5-12), Red Planet and Salmon Classic -all presently blooming.

I have Commander-In-Chief blooming and it is gorgeous! The color is a much darker red than what the camera could capture. I love it!


Second one is NOID....but it is so cheery and looks so tropical to me! Would love to figure out who it is!

Commander In Chief is so pretty and bright. Like the other one too. It does look tropical, like a tropical sunset.

Looks a lot like L. dauricum (fuzzy bud and all). It can be quite variable, I believe.

My brain must still be working ok ? -the petal thins [big time] near the centre,.I planted 5 l.Michiganense seeds on 2 Nov 2011 and have 4 little nut sized bulbs under the moss bed,.,,Yahoo!

Wow! Looking good Moby. Still pretty far off from anything here. It's weird, the early spring got things going, but it was really halted with the cold. Almost as if they paused for a couple weeks in there and are now just getting going again with the recent warm weather.

Thank goodness for the cooler weather of late. We started out with spring bulbs being about 5 weeks early, irises and peonies at about 4 weeks and now we're at 3 weeks early for the lilies. Going to be an awfuly long summer.

Very nice Moby!! I said the same thing about summer. It has been warm for so long already and things are blooming so early. I dread July and August!!
