Christmas is 16 days away. Oh and only 28 days left and then it's bye bye 2018.... I'm thinking 102 days left until the first day of spring. I'm ready to start planning what I would like to add to my collection. You may remember that I am in the process of rooting some cuttings for the first time. I am trying to patient and leave them alone. So in the meantime I wanted to find out what you may be looking to add to your collection this year?

@FortheloveofPlumies - The so-called Confetti is a registered variety known as Barbados Showgirl. The "Confetti" is ridiculously overpriced. Keep an eye out for Barbados Showgirl!

@molder - Tahitian Sunset is a beauty and a reliable bloomer for me. It's one of my tallest trees now after about 18 years.

That is a beauty! I am thinking of buying some seeds. I've never grown them from seed. Does anyone know how long it would take to bloom from seed?

Thanks, for that info. Adeniums bloom much faster, but I might give them a try anyway.

Cuttings are great for Plumerias.
Desert Roses should be from seed from what I understand for their caudex right?

That's true. Cuttings won't form the caudex.

Karen. I agree. About three years. I grew around 100 seeds three years ago and several bloomed this year.
