Please can I have worldwide advice regarding climate effect on double liliums..especially Dutch liliums grown in Australia....Canary Wharf that I purchased from Victoria ..all 10 bloomed as singles in Tasmania..supplier says it's our hot climate....I'm dubious

Anthony, I don't grow double lilies myself, but I have heard that it can be normal for them to bloom with half sized petals on the first blooming season. But there is no sign of a double bloom at all in your picture, and if all 10 look like that, I think they gave you the wrong cultivar.

I would expect that it is the wrong variety. My climate is can be extremely hot in the summer and doubles here show some double traits, whether is partial or full, no matter what the weather. And in the first year it is no different. Your bloom looks like a straight up single.
