Some of you that are just coming over from the 'All Seeds Swap #5' may be wondering why I'm 'jumping' to #7 for this swap's name. That's because my swap #5 was actually a bit of a misnomer since it was technically the 6th swap, chronologically speaking. When I created swap #5, I had created it (along with its name) a year ahead of time, just after swap #4, so it was the 5th swap...

...but then I slipped in a swap between #4 and #5 (a lightning swap held in January), and it threw things off. I kept swap #5 listed as #5 in the title so that it wasn't confusing for people already signed up for it, but it did throw off the numbers. Now, I'm getting back on track and setting it right this year.

That means there is no official swap #6, LoL! I suppose you could consider last year's lightning round as swap #6 (the sixth swap I posted), if you are one of those people that needs order. (To be fair, not having a swap labeled #6 bothers me a bit too....I'm slightly one of those 'order people'...but it bothers me more to label swaps a number behind what they actually are.)

I hope that clears things up! Big Grin

Nope, just confused me more. I just signed on and said "OH, I LIKE #7" -- ha ha! Thanks for the explanation, Libby! I'm sure other people would have paid more attention and will ask!

LoL, Val! Because I have been creating my swaps (and thus, their names) a year ahead of time, it poses a predicament if I want to squeeze another swap in between my annual fall swaps.

November 2017 was swap #4. Then I created swap #5 for November 2018. Then, I slipped in a Lightning Round swap in January of 2018....

...so I didn't know if that lightning round should be considered #5 and I should change the #5 to #6......or should I keep #5 as #5 and make the lightning round #6, since it was the 6th swap to be created, even if it puts them out of chronological order... Shrug!

So, I didn't change the name and we're just avoiding the numbering problem by skipping right over it, LoL! We're going to #7 now! Big Grin

I have a question. Hope you don't mind me putting it here.

I've never joined two swaps at the same time, until just now! Blinking

My question is about the seeds I'm offering in my swap list. So, if I am offering say two packs of a particular item in both swaps, will that be two packs in each swap or total packs for both swaps?

Thanks. Smiling

Hi, Christine! Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, did you get your question answered?

If not (or for others' benefit), the simple answer is that you need to create seperate line items (listings) for the seeds you intend for one swap versus another. When you are at the screen with the columns for the different seed swaps (with the grey/green check 'boxes'), check the column for the first seed swap for one of your listings and check the other column for your other seed listing. If that doesn't make sense to you (or anyone else), please let me know and I'm happy to offer further assistance!

Thank You! Thanks. Thumbs up I didn't think of that. No, I didn't get the answer to my question before now so I figured I would have to make sure I have double of everything that I'm offering in both swaps!

Your way will be so much easier!! nodding

Glad I could help!

Another suggestion: also keep seeds for one swap physically separate from seeds for your other swap. (Example: put them in two separate, well-labeled baskets or plastic storage bins.) You'll be glad you did, later. Smiling
