This is apparently popping up all over my brother's yard and we're all curious what it is. I'm not able to figure this one out. KC region.

Very difficult to remove in places where it is not wanted. It spreads by seeds and if you attempt to dig it out it leaves many tiny bulblets behind. I've been trying to get rid of it for years. It is nice if you have a cottage garden but I want to grow other things.

I tried to warn my dad that but he said there is a company coming to spray his yard today and he seems to think that will take care of it. Tried to warn them that it's not that easy but I gave up. He has 2 dogs and a young child he has to be careful of so in his case better to get rid of it. Just turned up this year apparently and whole yard is covered.

Any bulbous plant is difficult to kill, especially in one application. But lawn weedkillers target dicot plants, which most broadleaf weeds are. Star of Bethlehem is a monocot, and will not be affected at all.
