It has been raining and cold for days. But today we have a little sun. Beverly Sills and Vanity have opened first bloom, but I opted not to take photos of them because they are puny, and on top of that, the later has some deer tooth holes.
As I came out the front door, I couldn't resist getting a photo of our azalea spilling bloom through the porch railing.
Coming around to the side yard I saw first bloom of Dusky Challenger, a little beat up by the rain.
Then, coming around the tool shed, I saw first blooms of White Cap peony.
Then to the end-of-patio garden, where Golden Panther is loosening its petals to open (tomorrow), and Champagne Elegance is pretty beaten by the rain. But Hollywood Nights has a nice bloom.
Then, at the head of the main garden, Tullyherron now has multiple blooms.
Then Queen's Circle has its first bloom out.
And Absolute Treasure has its first bloom out. It's cool out today, so it's bluer than when it's hot
Then Royalty Remembered. I really like this one.
Next, Another bloom on Going Dutch, but it's slightly damaged by all our rain
Then Rustler. This one was poor weak stock sold me several years ago, so this is its first good bloom in my garden. I love it! An oldy, but definitely a goody!
Next, gigantic blooms of Yaquina Blue, despite being in the deep shade of the huge maple tree. No, I never got the maple taken out.
Then, seedlings of digitalis starting.
Moving around to the other corner garden, this is one of my last blooms of Navy Blues
Now my first two Siberians are starting:
Over in Gloryland
and an NOID similar to Ceasar's Brother, but not quite the same as the one I have labeled as that, which won't open for a day or two more.
