Honey Bees in the Garden:  April

April showers bring May flowers, which means plenty of food for honey bees. Gardeners will soon be busy setting out the plants they bought or grew from seeds. And now that the number of honey bees has increased, the honey supers are being filled with surplus honey.

Margaret, you sure have opened my eyes with all your information you have been writing about. I never thought about the different pollen colors or what flowers honeybees liked best or the world of info. you have shared. I have learned so much from your articles and hang till another one comes out. Thank you for opening my eyes to a whole new world than I had ever thought about before.
I am facinated at different colored pollen making different colored and different tasting honey. Amazing. I thought it was all the same.
Keep up the good work and keep those articles coming. Hurray!
