Recently I bought some container plants but the labels are confusing and I don't know how to enter them in the database.
I'll post some example labels (back and front) to make clear what I mean..

Petunia, do I enter Petunia Lipstick, or Petunia Sanguna Lipstick
And to add to the confusion, on the backside of the label is written: Petunia Hybrida Sanguna Lipstick and then Petrosena with a small letter 'p' in a circle, I don't know what that stand for..)
(In the database I saw an entry: 'Petunia Lipstick Kisses', which must be same I guess..)
Petunia 'Lipstick Kisses'

The valid botanical name is on the back of each of those tags. If only every plant seller did this!

The genus for the petunia on the top is Petunia and the species really should be left blank.
The cultivar is the word in single quotes. In the case of this particular plant, the cultivar is 'Petrosena'.
The name used to market the plant is the trade name, in which case, "Sanguna® Lipstick".

I understood for the Putunia, the Verbena and the Lobelia Dave, but if I apply the same for the Bacopa it would be : Sutera 'Suttis 98' Confused

OK I found out that Sutera should be the Genus name (not Bacopa) for the plant! Rolling my eyes.
Thanks Dave!
