Thanks for your kind comments. That orange seedling is growing on me. Dot, the reason I did not label the white seedling with a name is because I have read that one should not use the reserved name until the daylily is officially registered, which this one is not. I don't know if this is true or not, so to be on the safe side, I omitted the name you gave it.

Ann, that is one gorgeous landscape photo. Have to look at that one
many times. Your seedlings have nice wide petals. Beautiful, as are
the others.

I am like Dot - I feel like I NEED to take photos each day. I am not a good photographer, but I still like to take photos then look at them during the winter months.

Crimson Cowboy - FFO - is such a bright red. I was a little surprised by just how bright it is. The first photo was taken about 8:00 this morning, but the camera focused on the foliage, so I took another photo about 1:00 this afternoon. It is growing beside Ehren Thomas and Ehren has more purple than CC.

Xylophone Jazz - FFO - I did not adjust color

Here is a FFO on Winter Rainbow, a sibling of Xylophone Jazz.

Monet's Garden - FFO - a little washed out

Icicles is a very pale baby pink, the the edge is getting better and better. It is also a pod stud!

I am really liking this seedling, so I will post it again with today's bloom.

The above seedling is a sibling to one of my registrations Diamond Diva. Don't they look like siblings????

I didn't have a lot of time for photos today. I will post a few, but I had lots blooming.

I love white daylilies. Here is a FFO ever on a seedling Polar Snow X Snow Crystal. I have several of this cross and this is the first to open.
Thumb of 2012-05-21/farmerbell/a1454f

FFO on Vivacious Spirit. I hope that spraying for thrips last week will take care of them. I know that some buds had already been affected before I sprayed. I still really like this daylily.

This is for Sandy (seedsower). She sent me seeds a few years ago and this is one of the seedlings.

Photos from today. So many more are opening each day that it is total immersion in daylily blooms. Love it!

Cave Creek Canyon - FFO

Picotee Prism

Sulphurite Prism

Celestial Shore - FFO

Space Warp - FFO

Tal of Gascone - FFO - it had three blooms this morning.

Elisa Dallas

Just Fabulous - FFO

Spacecoast Hot Tamales

The Band Played On - FFO

Winning Note - the color is more peach than pink, but my camera didn't capture the true color. This is such an outstanding daylily but gets very little notice.

Sherry Candy - FFO

Violet Butterfly

Lillian's Lies and Alibis

Seedling:

sibling to one I posted yesterday: Polar Snow X Snow Crystal - FFO. This one is a larger bloom, taller and better branched scape and very flat.

Wonderful Ann!!!! I guess Picotee Prism is my favorite today. Of course, tomorrow, it'll change Whistling . Seems like I can never make up my mind. Just ask Michele, I LOVE EM ALL!!!

Today is a wonderful daylily day. I'd say I've got around 150 blooming in my Hybridizing area and I have no idea how many in other areas. The colors are amazing. I bet your's are the same. Ann, have you noticed a change in the colors of your daylilies this year??? I have ones that have bloomed for 3 years now, and the colors this year are the riches, brightest, and some to the point of looking totally different. It's amazing to me that a plant can basically change colors depending on the weather!! It's been warmer earlier this year and then leveled off and has been cooler with more sunshine the last 2 months with just about perfect weather here. I hope you are having these beautiful days too.
