Oh man, they're going to wheel all of that concrete to the back of the house. Just two guys and two wheelbarrels. I've been this foolish in my younger days but never again.

The paver man was here all day working on the coping around the pool. This should give you the first hint as to the finished product.

Wednesday, the paver man spent most of the day widening the drain channels in the old concrete. They will catch and channel water away from the house should the pool overflow. The pavers should be completed this week as the cage crew is on for Monday. I don't know how far they will get before the MG tour arrives on Thursday of next week. These pics will give you a clue as to what the drainage channels are all about.

On Thursday, he began laying the pavers. These pics will show the color and pattern.

I am enjoying watching the progress you are making and dreaming having a place to garden and grow orchids. I am situated in a very shady spot for the most part.

I agree ! Those pavers look good. They seem to be moving right along, so maybe they'll keep their promise and have it done before your open garden. Crossing my fingers for you.
